Virginia High School Basketball - Waynesboro beaten by Rockbridge County
December 12, 2025: Lexington, VA 24450 The Rockbridge County Wildcats beat the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants basketball team by a margin of 44-27 in Friday's non-league game.
The Wildcats now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league game on Thursday, December 18.
With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Little giants host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league outing on Monday, December 15. The Knights enter the outing with a record of 1-3. Turner Ashby lost 50-48 in their recent non-league outing against Page County (Shenandoah, VA)
