In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), by a count of 64-42.

The Buffaloes (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, La Joya Community smashed Millennium (Goodyear, AZ), 66-49, in a league outing.

The Prospectors now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Combs for a 4A Black Canyon outing on Saturday, December 17. Apache Junction will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 84-44 non-league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-6.
