Iowa High School Basketball - Alta-Aurelia nips Kingsley-Pierson
December 13, 2021: Alta, IA 95678 Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA), 49-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Alta-Aurelia upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 16. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Pocahontas lost 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against East Sac County (Lake View, IA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Siouxland Christian Eagles (Sioux City, IA) in a Western Valley - North bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Kingsley-Pierson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Hull, IA).
