December 13, 2021: Hillsville, VA 24343 The Grayson County Blue Devils basketball team (Independence, VA), was nudged 63-57 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA)
The Cavaliers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenvar for a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, January 4.
The Blue Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the Mountain Empire battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Fort Chiswell edged Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 59-46, in a league battle.
