Texas High School Basketball - South Grand Prairie fells Allen
December 13, 2021: Allen, TX 75002 South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Allen Eagles (Allen, TX), 53-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Warriors host Lamar (Arlington, TX) to play the Vikings in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, December 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-10.
Next up, the Eagles play the Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Friday, December 17. Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 57-25 league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX).
