Ohio High School Basketball - Vermilion overwhelms Clearview
December 13, 2021: Lorain, OH 44052 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) and the host Clearview Clippers (Lorain, OH), saw Vermilion's basketball squad wallop Clearview by a tally of 69-18.
With the victory, Vermilion improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH) to play the Redmen in a Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge on Friday, December 17. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Bellevue lost 56-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby (Shelby, OH)
Next up, the Clippers play the Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) in a Lorain County 8 challenge, on Wednesday, December 15. Clearview will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 41-27 non-league loss to Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH).
