Nebraska High School Basketball - Alma crushes Southwest

Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE), 75-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Alma upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Roughriders play the Arapahoe Warriors (Arapahoe, NE) in a D1 District 11 bout, on Friday, December 16. Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE).
