Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Our Lady of the Sacred Heart nips Ambridge
December 13, 2022: Coraopolis, PA 15108 Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 42-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Brentwood won 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA)
Next up, the Bridgers play the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Ambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Quakers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 42-39 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA).
