North Carolina High School Basketball - Bandys can't hold off St. Stephens

December 13, 2022: Hickory, NC 28601

The St. Stephens Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Bandys Trojans to 48 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Iredell for a 3A Conference 51 contest on Friday, December 16. St. Stephens will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-41 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-6.

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels enter the 2A Conference 45 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, West Lincoln nudged Foard (Newton, NC), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
