Texas High School Basketball - Coronado crushes Big Spring
December 13, 2022: Big Spring, TX 79720 Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 69-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Abernathy (Abernathy, TX) to play the Antelopes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Antelopes go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Abernathy won 75-24 in their recent non-league bout against Ralls (Ralls, TX)
Next up, the Steers play the Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX).
