Texas High School Basketball - Gruver can't hold off Borger
December 13, 2022: Gruver, TX 79040 The Borger Bulldogs basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Gruver Greyhounds to 38 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perryton for a 4A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, December 16. Borger will battle a Rangers team coming off a 52-40 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-3.
The Greyhounds (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bushland (Bushland, TX). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Bushland was nudged by Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX), 53-40, in a non-league contest.
