Texas High School Basketball - Weimar overwhelmed by Brazos
December 13, 2022: Wallis, TX 77485 The Brazos Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Weimar Wildcats to 30 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boling for a 3A Region III District 24 contest on Monday, December 19. Brazos will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Ganado (Ganado, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region IV District 28 contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Flatonia triumphed over Iola (Iola, TX), 72-52, in a non-league contest.
