Texas High School Basketball - Cooper overwhelms Brownwood
December 13, 2022: Abilene, TX 79605 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX), saw Cooper's basketball squad wallop Brownwood by a tally of 62-35.
With the victory, Cooper improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wylie (Abilene, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-11.
Next up, the Lions confront the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Brownwood will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 65-51 non-league loss to Odessa (Odessa, TX).
