December 13, 2022: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the host Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Chopticon's basketball squad knock off Glen Burnie by a count of 72-57.
With the victory, Chopticon upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Braves host Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Leonardtown won 51-42 in their recent league challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
Next up, the Gophers play the Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Friday, December 16. Glen Burnie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 80-48 non-league win over Lewis (Baltimore, MD).
