Washington High School Basketball - East Valley nudges Sunnyside
December 13, 2022: Sunnyside, WA 98944 East Valley Red Devils (Yakima, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA), 48-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Valley upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Red Devils host Selah (Selah, WA) to clash with the Vikings in a 2A Central Washington bout on Friday, December 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Selah lost 61-53 in their recent non-league bout against Zillah (Zillah, WA)
Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the West Valley Rams (Yakima, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 bout, on Friday, December 16. Sunnyside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 75-30 league win over Eisenhower (Yakima, WA).
