Texas High School Basketball - Guyer fells Marcus
December 13, 2022: Flower Mound, TX 75028 Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), 51-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Guyer upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to play the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Blue Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Marauders play the Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, December 16. Marcus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 82-41 non-league win over Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
