Texas High School Basketball - Van Vleck nips Industrial
December 13, 2022: Van Vleck, TX 77482 Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX), 57-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Van Vleck upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Leopards travel to Danbury (Danbury, TX) to play the Panthers in a 3A Region III District 24 bout on Monday, December 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Danbury lost 68-66 in their recent non-league bout against Northbrook (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Cobras play the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, December 16. Industrial will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX).
