Arizona High School Basketball - Ironwood crushes South Mountain

December 13, 2022: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 85-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ironwood upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Trojans in a 5A Northwest bout on Thursday, December 15. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Paradise Valley lost 80-57 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. South Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ).
