The Long Reach Lightning basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Milford Mill Academy Millers to 54 in the Lightning non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lightning now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond for a Howard County contest on Wednesday, December 14. Long Reach will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 66-65 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-1.

The Millers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Town (Owings Mills, MD). The come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, New Town prevailed over Randallstown (Randallstown, MD), 69-50, in a league contest.
