West Virginia High School Basketball - Point Pleasant falls to Nitro

December 13, 2022: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored a good 50-32 triumph over the Point Pleasant Big Blacks.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Friday, December 16. Nitro will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 66-41 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV).

With the defeat, Point Pleasant moves to 1-2 on the year. The Big blacks travel to Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, December 17. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 5-0. Gallia Academy won 74-50 in their recent league match against Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH)
