Maine High School Basketball - North Yarmouth Academy knocked off by Poland
December 13, 2022: Poland, ME 04274 The Poland Knights basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting North Yarmouth Academy Panthers to 46 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wells for a B South contest on Thursday, December 15. Poland will battle a Warriors team coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Traip (Kittery, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Guardians enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Seacoast Christian ran past Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME), 75-40, in a league contest.
