Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) and the visiting Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI), saw Tri County Area's basketball squad wallop Pine River Area by a tally of 59-32.

With the victory, Tri County Area improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to play the Warriors in a Central State - Gold challenge on Friday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bucks play the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Pine River Area will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 55-44 league loss to Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI).
