In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Richland County Tigers basketball team scored a decisive 49-28 triumph over the Salem Wildcats.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) in a Little Illini match, on Friday, December 16. Richland County will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 62-28 non-league win over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL).
