Ohio High School Basketball - Triway can't hold off Smithville
December 13, 2022: Wooster, OH 44691 The Smithville Smithies basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Triway Titans to 54 in the Smithies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Smithies now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsdale for a Wayne County contest on Friday, December 16. Smithville will battle a Falcons team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over Central Christian (Kidron, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.
The Titans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Orrville (Orrville, OH). The Red Riders enter the Principals contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Orrville was nudged by Fairless (Navarre, OH), 49-27, in a league contest.
