The Academia Avance (Los Angeles, CA) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home non-conference game against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA) by a score of 33-23.
The Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares to 23 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Griffins now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sun Valley Magnet for a Central Valley contest on Wednesday, December 14. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 51-30 league win over Discovery (Sylmar, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-3.
The Guerreros Jaguares (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves enter the Eastside contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, University Prep Value ran past Alliance Ted K. Tajima (Los Angeles, CA), 60-10, in a non-league contest.
