Utah High School Basketball - Box Elder nips Layton

December 13, 2022: Brigham City, UT 84302

Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Layton Lancers (Layton, UT), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Box Elder upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bees travel to Sky View (Smithfield, UT) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Sky View won 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against Morgan (Morgan, UT)

Next up, the Lancers play the Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Layton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 47-29 non-league win over Murray (Murray, UT).
