Arizona High School Basketball - Casa Grande crushes La Joya Community
December 13, 2022: Casa Grande, AZ 85222 Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 51-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Casa Grande upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Copper Canyon won 62-11 in their recent league bout against Glendale (Glendale, AZ)
Next up, the Fighting Lobos clash with the Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) in a 5A Desert West bout, on Thursday, December 15. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 88-8 non-league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ).
