December 13, 2022: Cotulla, TX 78014 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX) and the visiting Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), saw Cotulla's basketball squad overcome Uvalde by a tally of 36-22.
With the victory, Cotulla improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Poteet (Poteet, TX) to confront the Aggies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Poteet lost 48-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Natalia (Natalia, TX)
Next up, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) confront the Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Uvalde will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Warhorses come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 51-23 non-league win over Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX).
