Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lakeland crushes D.C. Everest
December 13, 2022: Schofield, WI 54476 Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI), 73-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lakeland upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Antigo (Antigo, WI) to play the Red Robins in a Great Northern bout on Friday, December 16. The Red Robins come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Antigo lost 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI)
Next up, the Evergreens play the Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley bout, on Friday, December 16. D.C. Everest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 63-30 league win over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI).
