Maryland High School Basketball - Eastern Tech can't hold off Joppatowne
December 13, 2022: Joppa, MD 21085 The Eastern Tech Mavericks basketball team (Baltimore, MD), was nudged 44-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD)
The Mariners now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rising Sun for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna battle on Thursday, December 15. Joppatowne will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-26 league win over Perryville (Perryville, MD). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carver A&T (Towson, MD). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Carver A&T edged Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD), 42-34, in a non-league battle.
