Indiana High School Basketball - Henderson County holds off Evansville Mater Dei

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) and the host Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats (Evansville, IN), saw Henderson County's basketball squad hold off Evansville Mater Dei by a tally of 52-51.

With the victory, Henderson County improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Colonels host Castle (Newburgh, IN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Castle won 62-33 in their recent league challenge against Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Evansville Mater Dei will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Stars go into the outing with a 11-1 record after their 67-29 non-league win over Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN).
