In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), by a margin of 36-18.

The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Bakersfield Christian was topped by Monache (Porterville, CA), 58-38, in a non-league outing.
