Georgia High School Basketball - Lamar County holds off Trinity Christian
December 13, 2022: Barnesville, GA 30204 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) and the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), saw Lamar County's basketball squad hold off Trinity Christian by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Lamar County improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Mary Persons won 50-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Howard (Macon, GA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Spanish Fort Toros (Spanish Fort, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Toros come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Daphne (Daphne, AL).
