Iowa High School Basketball - Liberty tops Western Dubuque
December 13, 2022: North Liberty, IA Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA) and the visiting Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA), saw Liberty's basketball squad knock off Western Dubuque by a count of 56-47.
With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA) to play the Little Hawks in a Mississippi Valley challenge on Friday, December 16. The Little Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Iowa City lost 56-51 in their recent league challenge against Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Friday, December 16. Western Dubuque will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 56-51 league win over Iowa City (Iowa City, IA).
