Washington High School Basketball - Naches Valley holds off Sunnyside Christian
December 13, 2022: Sunnyside, WA 98944 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Naches Valley Rangers (Naches, WA) and the host Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA), saw Naches Valley's basketball squad hold off Sunnyside Christian by a tally of 43-39.
With the victory, Naches Valley improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Zillah (Zillah, WA) to confront the Leopards in a 1A South Central - West challenge on Friday, December 16. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Zillah won 58-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Grandview (Grandview, WA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles (Toppenish, WA) in a 1B Southeast challenge, on Friday, December 16. Sunnyside Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 56-28 non-league win over Wahluke (Mattawa, WA).
