The Nauset Regional Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Nantucket Whalers to 36 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Cod Academy for a Cape & Islands contest on Tuesday, January 3.

The Whalers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA). The Navigators enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
