The North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball overwhelmed the host Rocky River CMS Athletics (Mint Hill, NC), 82-31 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Vikings (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks go into the 3A/4A Conference 60 outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Mallard Creek smashed Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 76-45, in a league outing.

The CMS Athletics now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Charlotte Catholic for a 4A Conference 59 outing on Friday, December 16. Rocky River will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 62-61 league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
