Texas High School Basketball - Southwest succumbs to Somerset

December 13, 2022: Somerset, TX 78069

The Somerset Bulldogs topped the visiting Southwest Dragons basketball team by a final score of 46-29 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 game, on Friday, December 16. Somerset will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 85-44 non-league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX).

With the defeat, Southwest moves to 7-10 on the year. The Dragons travel to Harlandale (San Antonio, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region IV District 28 game on Friday, December 16. The Indians enter the game with a record of 14-6. Harlandale won 81-57 in their recent non-league game against Seguin (Seguin, TX)
