West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), 62-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Jefferson upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Tarpons clash with the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. South Lafourche will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 64-27 non-league win over West Monroe (West Monroe, LA).
