New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque holds off La Cueva
December 13, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87122 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) and the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque's basketball squad hold off La Cueva by a tally of 38-35.
With the victory, Albuquerque improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Eldorado lost 52-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Bears confront the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. La Cueva will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 37-27 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
