Arizona High School Basketball - Thunderbird can't hold off Estrella Foothills
December 13, 2022: Goodyear, AZ 85338 The Estrella Foothills Wolves basketball team scored 27 points and held the visiting Thunderbird Titans to 26 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mohave for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Estrella Foothills will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 32-29 non-league loss to Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.
The Titans (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, West Point was nudged by Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ), 31-12, in a non-league contest.
