North Carolina High School Basketball - Dixon holds off South Lenoir
December 13, 2022: Deep Run, NC 28525 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) and the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), witnessed Dixon's basketball squad nip South Lenoir by a margin of 27-25.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Southwest Onslow got by White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 35-16, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. South Lenoir will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 37-27 non-league win over Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 4-3.
