December 13, 2022: Magdalena, NM 87825 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) and the visiting Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM), saw Magdalena's basketball squad hold off Tularosa by a tally of 35-30.
With the victory, Magdalena improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Fort Sumner (Fort Sumner, NM) to play the Foxes/Vixens in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Foxes/Vixens come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wildcats play the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Tularosa will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
