Florida High School Basketball - The First Academy fells Lake Wales
December 13, 2022: Lake Wales, FL 33853 The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL), 48-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, The First Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Royals travel to Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL) to play the Ducks in a bout on Friday, December 16. The Ducks go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Cornerstone Charter Academy lost 49-41 in their recent non-league bout against East Ridge (Clermont, FL)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Winter Haven Blue Devils (Winter Haven, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Lake Wales will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 55-35 non-league win over Auburndale (Auburndale, FL).
