California High School Basketball - El Diamante knocked off by Central

The Central Grizzlies basketball team scored 64 points and held the host El Diamante Miners to 55 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Central will battle a Patriots team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Independence (Bakersfield, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-5.

The Miners (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Torres (Madera, CA). The Toros enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Torres ran past Taft (Taft, CA), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
