Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ), 63-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Desert Ridge upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Marana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 72-71 non-league loss to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).
