Massachusetts High School Basketball - Westborough nips Douglas
December 13, 2023: Westborough, MA 01581 Westborough Rangers (Westborough, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA), 75-72 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Westborough upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rangers host North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA) to play the Patriots in a Midland-Wachusett B bout on Friday, December 15. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Oxford edged Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA), 68-37, in a non-league battle.
