New York High School Basketball - Hempstead fells Floral Park Memorial
December 13, 2023: Hempstead, NY 11550 Hempstead Tigers (Hempstead, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Floral Park Memorial Knights (Floral Park, NY), 70-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hempstead upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY) to clash with the Friars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Friars go into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Anthony's won 66-46 in their recent non-league bout against All Hallows (Bronx, NY)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Lynbrook Owls (Lynbrook, NY) in a Section 8 A-4 bout, on Saturday, December 16. Floral Park Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
