Maryland High School Basketball - Springbrook nudges Quince Orchard
December 13, 2023: Gaithersburg, MD 20878 Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), 61-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Springbrook upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to clash with the Barons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Barons go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Bethesda-Chevy Chase lost 68-53 in their recent non-league bout against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Quince Orchard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 72-34 league win over Blair (Silver Spring, MD).
