Viera Hawks (Viera, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL), 61-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Viera upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Cocoa (Cocoa, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Cocoa lost 86-64 in their recent non-league bout against Hope Academy (Groveland, FL)
